Meet the First Midwest Advisors Team

First Midwest Advisors serves individual buyers and sellers, family-owned businesses, and mid-sized corporations across the Midwest. Our team consists of experienced professionals with backgrounds in commercial banking, private equity, and business consulting. We take pride in building strong relationships within the communities we serve, connecting buyers and sellers to create successful partnerships.

Jason Sanders, Managing Partner

Jason Sanders has been advising business owners for over 30 years. Beginning his career in commercial banking, he immediately found his calling and passion with helping business clients.  He founded First Midwest Advisors LLC in 2019 and is currently the Managing Partner/CEO.

Prior to founding First Midwest Advisors, Jason had a successful career in banking as a Regional President, leading a team with 4 billion in assets. With a client first approach, his team elevated the bank to the region’s top market position, becoming Michigan’s number one MEDC and SBA 504 Lender, while maintaining exceptional community and employee engagement results.

Jason holds a degree in Business Administration from Alma College with an emphasis in Finance, Accounting, and Economics. His commitment to community leadership is demonstrated through his board service with organizations including the Accelerate Jackson, Lansing Economic Area Partnership, Lansing Chamber of Commerce and Jackson County EDC.

In his free time, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife and 4 children, attending their sporting events, quality time on the lake, golfing, biking, and traveling.
